Tauihu Producer Receives German Govt Invitation to Visit Berlinale
Tauihu Media principal Tui Ruwhiu has been invited to visit the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in February on an information tour as an official guest of the German Government.
Ruwhiu will join 24 other international guests on the visit from 8 – 16 February, which has been organised as part of the German Government’s Visitor Programme. He will tour the various Festival venues, attend the broadcast of the opening ceremony and opening film, and discussion on cultural policy with up-and-coming young film directors, and network with international film guests.
Ruwhiu’s visit will include the European Film Market (EFM).
The visit provides the opportunity for Ruwhiu to develop contacts to help advance Tauihu Media feature film project Iron Tears, a potential NZ – Germany co-production, as well as other films and TV series on the company’s slate.
